How important are Metal Halides?

I've got three 600w Hortilux Super HPS, I cant afford any more lights. I'm growing one crop from seed. I am going to do some clones, since i can only afford 18 seeds, and Ill pick oup some flourescents for cloning. But do u guys think ill be okay vegging rooted clones for one week with the HPS?

sure your HPS will be fine, most people don't even have a proper bulb (6500 K) in those things and would be better off without it.
