How important is humidity?

I have grown one time and am about to start my next grow. I dont have a anything to measure humidity. I can only measure temp. So, should I go get one that does humidity too? I got through my last grow but they both ended up being hermies. Could bad humidity be the reason they turned hermie?

Nah thats highly unlikely the cause but is a possibility, humidity is pretty important if you want the best of the best, but i know a lot of people that grow Ultras without controlling humidity, only people i know that controll it are in places that you have to or youll get bud rot guarantee .

I track my humidity to make sure its high in veg and low in flower to prevent mold. Its not really vital but its important to keep an eye on. My hygrometer I got from Walmart for 5 dollars it is digital and measures temp and humidity and heven has a memory. Hope this helps.

rh is key when you're growing, it is part of your environment. if you can keep your enviro. within acceptable limits, you will do better in every aspect of your grow. on my first grow, i had extremely high temps. throughout. when i harvested, i had some monster size buds! after curing, i understood the errors of my ways. the size was there, but the weight wasn't. high temps. cause light, fluffy buds. the smoke was very good, but i really lost out on yield.
