Well, let me put it to you like this...
I absolutely love Colorado Springs, I'm nearly positive this where I will reside for the rest of my existence.
It can get hot here, but very little to zero humidity.. I will have to warn you about the DRAMATIC transitions of the weather patterns..
I mean, you could wake up @7:00 am, and it's sunny 70° and not a cloud in sight...
By 10:00 am.. We could be white-out blizzard conditions, and I'm NOT exaggerating, it is crazy.
Constiello nailed the dispensary list...the only one I kind of disagree on is Levity Wellness, and it's because I'm biased in the fact that I used to a member of Levity, and I REALLY liked the place for a while.
Then, their selection was down to two strains for quite some time, they would put 1 gram caps on certain strains, damn that made me really mad...lol.
Next, was the fact that they couldn't keep a steady budtender, somebody new nearly every visit. When I first started going there, the owner was always super cool and friendly, but after I assigned them...no more smiles, no more hello, no friendliness.
What really initiated my hatred for Levity...was their bogus reward program.
I spent over 10,000$ at that shop in a couple years..I had the 10,000 points to redeem a SSV vape and a ounce of meds.
Well, when I attempted to redeem...the budtender had to ask her boss about it..
I could see the conversation, the budtender seemed frustrated and upset...so the old lady with glasses had to come tell me the” situation”
She said” we cannot redeem your points, unless you BUY an equal amount of merchandise”
I'm not the type of person to argue and cause a scene, so, I calmly said...I've already done that, by earning 10,000 points, she started rambling some bs how they could get in trouble and lose their license...which I knew was a straight lie.
So I left and never went back..they had decent meds...but do not become a member.
Lol...sorry about the novel...but ever since that day, I see Levity Wellness, I can't help but remember that day.
But the Springs is the shit, like Dank said, kinda keep to yourself, and mind your business...a great city.
A ton of camping and fishing spots all over the place..but I like to take about an hour drive over to Rampart, or Woodland Park, so fucking beautiful, and you are literally on the mountain..
I swear there was one night we were camping, it seemed like we were in a cloud, of course we were baked, and it could've been just thick fog, but you could feel the moisture, and the fog was so thick you couldn't really see very well.
You should love it here.
