How is my grow going? Newbie

I was just wondering if everyone can let me know if my plants look healthy. Their going on 8 weeks old and ive had several probems already and ive been able to solve mos just by reading and using my best friend...google lol. So i just wanted to post some pics to see what people think. Ive fought through some nute burn(feeding wayyy to early), over watering and fungus nats....cheap eco potting soil from walmart. So they have grown very slowly the past 3 weeks. Ive killed 3 and 5 survived, with one barely holding on. Any way im using a 400w hps closet grow. My doors stay open and i have a fan circulating in the room. Temps average 86 with them topping out at 92 once or twice....very hot days. PH is between 6.6 and 7. Just started miracle all purpose plant food for veg nutes and superthrive...i believe one ml for 2 gallons. Only nute fed them once and i over did it so i flushed them all..( i read the directions wrong, it was my fault). I have cut some yellowing off and dead leaves, but i still dont have many leaves. 3 of them have a yellowish lime green tent too them and ive flushed them yesterday so we will see if that fixed them. My leaves are very papery feeling and rough and sense reading ive raise my lights 28 inches above plants and moved fan off directly off of them. Ive been watering every 4 to 5 days and ive only fed once and that was on sun. I dont plan on feeding untill next watering. I will be using jacks blossom nutes for flower if i make it lol.

What Kind of Nutes are you using.. They look Healthy but a little on the short side.. But still HEALTHY..

No, they dont look to great really.... If you continue in your present course you will not acheive good results.

You sound like youre have very little ventilation. A fan circulating in your room just won't do it Im afraid. And what you going to do about smells when or If you get it to flower. You really need to be expelling the warm air out of the room and bringing in cool air from outside.

If getting the correct ventilation is going to be a problem then I seriously suggest you change your lighting to fluorescents. You wont have to worry about the heat and you'll achieve better results.

advice on your papery leaves : mist they regularly with plain old water. Keep the nice and moist.

Look at my plants under 400w hps for 2weeks

they are on the 12/12 from seed schedule

I would disagree .... Theyre certainly alive and not yet going critical. But should and could be doing a lot better. Because theyre still young all is not lost yet.

As for the ventillation, the closet im growing in is in a room thats 12x12 and during light hours i leave the room door open to allow ac in, i figured that would be plenty of ventillation. And the fan im using can either push or pull air. What is their that i can do differently to make them beter? Their on a 18 6 light schedule......fyi, bag seed. Im scared to order seeds online and any good dank you get around here has no seeds. So i just used some seeds i saved up from good bags.

Shouldn't of fed nutes at that stage and it is too hot for seedlings, what soil/compost have you got them in please?

im using walmart special earth gro. After i purchased the soil and had the plants already in them i read a lot of people saying it was crap. I fought those black little flys for 3 weeks and i think i finally have that undercontrol. I have 3 fly straps hanging and i used a vedgetable friendly pesticide that said you could use all he way to harvest. It did the job after two sprayings. I have flushed all of them today just to be sure i didnt have those nutes laying around.

So is their anything i can do to make them healthier? They are all in 3 gallon pots, and i dont really want them to have to be transplanted. I have topped one just to see what would happen, this hole thing is kinda a experiment.

id go at least 18/6.. theyll get bigger

92f is too hot for a lot of seedlings.

the 92f only happend twice, but they were very small. Thats when I strted letting ac in the room and i put a fan facing up towards the light. That made it drop 8 degrees.

can you tell us what the label of that pesticide said it contains? neem oil and pyrethrum, I am guessing?
