Go ahead and chop that leaf it looks like it is more of a burdon than a benefit.

Check your runoff ph and start adjusting if needed.

thanks for the post man um i havent watered in a few days because i was flamed for overwatering my soil ph is around 6.8-7.2 at most witch i dont think its even gotten that high.also where should i chop it at the stem or end of were the leaf started at the main stem

chop the leaf at the very base of it as close to the stalk as you can. then try to lower your ph by about .4-.5 just to be safe. Though you should be fine there.

ph is rarely the problem if ur using a soil medium, i would not fret on that. just stop over watering.

tell us more about ur light set up this could be part of the problem.

Yes actually I've been wondering about the lights as well. I personally water my plants every to every other day depending on the usage of the plant and the evaporation. I only water to the runoff point on occasion.

ok sorry i just still a noobie dont really know what should tell you when i have a prob

*temp is around 65 at night coldest and atmost 80 at the day time (for my plants) might get hotter:evil::cry:

*lightings cfl's in my grow space 1 20watter(1320lumens) 5 13watters (800lumens each) witchs is like 5320lumens in my grow space i plan to way upgrade these but this should do for the time. (i hope)

*like i think i said ph is like 7.0-6.8 but thats the soil its self i havent gotten to water to get the runoff.(and right now cant afford ph up or down if that is the prob i will find a way to get it tho)

*last time i water was like 5 days ago i have a mositure meter witch my soil is still around the 3-4 mark. should i still let it dry out.

*soil is shurtzs with shurtzs perlite. about 40%p/60%soil and while my soil drys is it ok for it to be like a rock once its dry or should i like bend my pots so it lose's up the soil

any other info like i said im a noob not for sure what i needed to give but that is like the basic of my grow space.

thanks for all respond's

ye i thought from pics those lights seemed yellowish, u want bluish light for veg. the daylight (6500k) cfls will work altho u say ur lights are 5000k which will work also. Ur lights also seem to be bout right in distance from tops.

do the leaves have a crispy texture?

Healthy leaves should feel almost crispy. If they feel wet and or mushy then you are definitely overwatering.

yes i know i was over watering b4 im still working the soil dry.like i said my mositure meters still reading around 3-4 once i get to 0 on it should i let it sit a day or what. so if the leafs fell wetish then its still over water'd. damn how longs it take i havent water'd in like 5days.
