I was thinking about buying this bulb. It says its good for vegging and flowering but is it realy anygood?

Decent bulb.

Still use a reflector.

u can get a 300w one for $30-50 at other shops online easy.....thats a bad deal you got imo

I have never seen a bulb that had both 2700k and 6500 k, in the same bulb.
AND
How do you know that he hasn't already done 4 or 5 grows with that bulb and it has lost alot of its lumens?
Flourscents can be all burnt out and still Light Up. Consider USED Tanning bulbs, that still Light Up, but are worthless.

iv seen them...half off the tubing in it is 6500k and the other is 2700k iv seen those lit up... i would think they would work good..but ya ur right u dont want to get that one...get a new one

CFL will five you a very short internode length if done right.

I've look on 1001bulbs.com and they dont have any 250 with 2700k and 6500k. Anyone know anywhere else i could look?

Couldn't find a 250w grow bulb on 1001bulbs or whatever but ill keep looking. As for a reflector I found this one with a mogul socket prewired, how would that be?

they have them in the spiral cfls but ur lookin for the long ones like the one in the link u just sent correct?

My friend uses the 120 watt CFLs that you get a home depot for $15. They work great for fast vegetative growth, and they do work for flowering, but not as well as some others. So you get more buds but they are a little smaller.
