How Long After Topping/Fiming Can You Pull Clones?

Hey Friends, So Ive always just started from seed and finished and would start a new batch of seeds, however tomarrow Im taking a stab at it for my pheno hunt.

So just as the title says.

I topped and fimmed my plants a couple days ago to slow things down a bit and to strengthen the plant as a whole.

assuming I just topped yesterday. How long should I wait? My thought is to wait until I see the plant start responding again and starts growing there next shoots. Then maybe a couple days after to let them get comfy.

You need only wait until the cuttings are large enough to be rooted. After you top/FIM a plant ( I do both) the plant will start to grow bushier and not as tall. "Out, not up". Recent topping doesn't have a bearing on clonability. Just wait until the cutting/clone is large enough to have a hole in the middle of the cutting stem. I have much better luck by using these larger clones. My theory is that the hole in the stem helps siphon up some cloning gel as the clone sits in the gel or 15 seconds just before going into the pellet. It can't hurt to wait a couple days as getting chopped is stressful to any plant. Take clones/cuttings from near the bottom of mom if she has been recently topped'FIM"d. Good luck, BigSteve.
