So just got off the phone after waiting 45 minutes only to find out that they don't have a way to track application or renewal progress at least according to them. Even more interesting is that they don't even call your doctor for a renewal that's what the person told me when I spoke to them and asked them what the holdup could be.
They said the protocol for renewals is they don't call the doctor unless something out of the ordinary compared to the original registration comes up. That seems pretty shoddy to me I'm due to expire in 2 weeks and have no way of knowing if they've even started my renewal they simply say it's processing or not
I'll tell you one thing I'm not stopping a goddamn thing due to their incompetence on a simple matter of renewal and registration. There's no need for health Canada's approval on this once your doctor signs you are okay to go, the only logical conclusion if they are not calling doctors and it's taking this long for renewals is they are dragging their feet on purpose.
