How long before a N Def. will Balance?

Can't take pictures right now as plant in Night Cycle, but she's 100% Showing a N Deficiency

5 old and 2 weeks into Flower, the bud growth went explosive overnight and she woke up one day lime green! :wall:

4 Days a go I fed her a balance of NPK(+Mg) 6-4-6(+2) (1ml/L) (According to the Manufacturers directions) and Bio Bloom Nutes (1ml/L) , then when she was ready for another water yesterday I fed her again with a slightly more concentrated dilution. (2ml/L each)

I've also been giving a light Foliar Feed with both + Humic + Fulvic Acid at lights out just to help stave off the affects of the Def whilst the nutes in the soil become available

How long before a plant starts taking up nutes and showing recovery from the Def? It's not getting worse, but It doesn't seem to be getting better.

I'm reading a week before anything looks any different, is this what other people have experienced?

Also, if a plant is deficient, can I up the feed concentrations a little bit more without burning the plant to try and really balance this out quicker? Or do I need to remain patient and keep slowly topping her up and hope for the best?

Flower Growth hasn't slowed down, if anything after each foliar feed she seems to be going nuts, I think I've been caught out by being a week behind on the schedule,

Any help would be great!

I think you’re right on the button in thinking you’re a week behind on your schedule. That is if you mean you missed your chance to fix a N deficiency by a week. 2 weeks into flower. More than likely your plants took N off the menu a week ago. Not a whole lot to do but ride them through to the end. Just try not to overdose them before then

The happier the root zone the faster the recovery. I would not give the plant any extra nutes, just give it a gradual increase keeping eye on its improvement.

Hey Guys sorry for the slow reply, I'm really struggling to get this balanced, one day it's looking better, then theres a growth spurt and she goes yellowy again, but there's already some signs of tip burn on the leaves.

I'm watering every 2 days do we think it's worth watering less so I can water every 24 hours instead? That way I can get a bit more control over the process and not have to wait 2 days before I can do anything?

No, you will get salts buildup....are you watering to some runoff?

Yes about 20% every time, PH at run off is between 6 & 7

She's now bone dry, but definitely still deficient, I've found a store where I can buy some Nitrate fertilizer, I understand that's more readily available, worth a bash do you think?

I would suggest using a full balanced nutrient...less chance of causing lockout...you are doing things right, maybe they are just a hungry strain.

Hey Man, thanks for the reply, I've got a fairly balanced grow nute, but it's just not balancing her, things go back to kinda normal, then before I'm ready to water again, she starts looking deficient, I tried upping the nute levels but started getting tip burn,

At this point I'm 100% convinced the only thing keeping her even slightly balanced is the foliar feeding, but I know this has to stop like last week.

Worth pointing out it's an Autoflower

Finally got some pics

Some of the brown spots on the leaves are from a Humic & Fulvic acid spray early on when she was a baby

She doesn't look too bad...keep doing what you are doing, but yes, you should stop the foliar now, may cause problems with buds later.
Peace.

Cool, this is reassuring, just seems every time I balance her she goes nuts and we're back into deficiencies

I know I shouldn't be foliar at all at this stage, I have to turn the fan up high for the first 30 minutes after lights out for fear of mould, Humidity is low already which gives piece of mind

Thanks for your help dude, takes a load off for sure
