How long before buds start showing?????

This is my first indoor grow and the seeds were suppose to be auto flowering but its been 9 weeks and there only 12 week seeds so im guessing they sent the non-auto flowering seeds by mistake my question is I just switched to a 12/12 light cycle to induce budding how long before i noticed the buds showing its been 3 days and there are white hairs every where but no buds any ideas would be great

If you see white hairs everywhere its getting close. On average it takes around 2 weeks for flowering to start. Those hairs you see are coming out of calyxes. The accumulation of those calyxes are what forms the buds. Hang in there bud, theyre about to take of.

about 21 days from12/12?
