How long can a autoflower stay in veg?

So I have this plant that I kind of grow at the windowsill and give it some light when I let my main plant rest. Started at the same time with my main plant, but the main one is already in flower while this one is smaller and still in veg. My question is how much can it stay in veg? I assume that at some point it will flower anyway.

Personally, I've never grown an auto that didn't autoflower. I've grown them for years, maybe I picked the right breeders?
That said, I have had them go 6-8 weeks of veg. Last winter growing in colder temps (64-68F) I saw 8. Average is 3-5 weeks under normal conditions.

I think this one will flower also, just taking longer as it is not really getting the right conditions, unfortunately. I was curious as to what maximum veg time you guys experienced

I went to mostly all autos in 18' and believe 45 +/- a day or 2 was the longest ive had before pre flowering. I try to get 70% or more Sativas as well so that's why they are on the longer/bigger side. I'll agree, 8 weeks is a long time but 3 winters ago(Buffalo NY) i keep my house around 62f and i had an auto take 5 mo ths and she definitely vegged almost if not for full 3 months. I do lights 24/0 so she was definitely an auto, cold mustve stunted her to a crawl.

Yes cold temps slow down growth. So you can veg longer in colder temps.

I had a NL auto survive the winter at 54’ north in a greenhouse lol

Born November, flowered the following April and harvested in august lol
