No you cannot take some clippings and set them aside. you MUST immediately place them into the medium in which you plan to propagate and start trying to get them rooting. Once they have rooted and are growing then you have a clone of the mother plant, that plant can be kept in a vegetative state forever as long as you give it food, water, air and at least 16 hours of light per day. You make the plant produce bud when you shorten the light cycle to 12 hours lights on and 12 hours lights off.

No drama you make this sound so easy. I usaly lose half my clones due to EXPERIMENTATION. some make it some dont. and yes you can set some clones aside for later just not too late maybe a few hours but better get a ez cloner. clonex Gel. and stuff.

I have a 100% success rate, will be doing my 500th clone off my current mother in a few days, usually do 45 at a time. I end up throwing away the runt clones and keeping the best 34. I Make clones for others as well. It is pretty easy once you find a good method.
