Add some heat to the bottom w.e your tryin to germinate in.

I used a cabinet above stove and just left the light on(the one with the exhaust fan) the heat from the light warmed the cabinet above just enough to get em to crack fast.

1-3 days and no pop your prolly doing something wrong.

I always use a small glass or plastic cup with say 1/4 in of water and either put in that cabinet mentioned above or in my humidification dome with heating pad. They always crack within 48 hours.

give me a break please! i'm not doing anything wrong dude, i have them in a special humidity dome above a heating pad designed for this shit. It's not that hard to crack a bean. The beans that weren't from attitude/greenhouse are chilling in my garden right now looking Beautiful. Since i posted this message 3/6 beans popped and they're all runts. The white widow never popped it developed some weird film around it inside the water which i believe was from the color coating. The only seed that popped in a timely fashion was the HP which wasn't covered in that coated shit. The other two being AMS, Church are a little deformed looking. And please don't tell me i planted my seed wrong roflmao.

FOR WHAT ITS WORTH::: All seeds that i've bought from overseas have either lacked quality of genetics or had a germination problem, all seeds/clones i buy from friends are all perfect. I'm guess that someone is taking advantaged of us buyers. Maybe i'm just fitting into the ERROR MARGIN..

I have learned if I pre-soak them for 8 hours, they often pop faster, but that is no guarnantee.
I just started 15 seeds, soaked them all,all day, and two popped the next day, and 5 took ten days!

dude They've been sitting in cups of water doing nothing at all. One seed popped a tiny little tap root barely visible and just stopped after that. One developed a mildewy film around it(this is a sterile garden i can assure you!) and the other is just sitting by itself, they've all shed the little color coated film which i don't think helped them at all. tossing a bunch of seeds around in a mixing bowl with paint has got to be bad for them.

IF they soak too long, they will drown and die.

what you're telling me just don't sound good.

I soak mine a half day, maybe 12 hours, and then lay them on a very wet papertowel folded in quarter, on a dinner plate, , but not in a puddle of water. Then I lay a wet, but wrung out paper towel on them, and cover them with a bowl. do not leave any of the wet towel hanging out. put them in a dark, not cool, not hot, place. They will be miserble in a puddle of water.

my seeds all popped within 36 hours. I kept them in a paper towel and placed them in a ziplock bag on top of my 1000watt MH reflector hood. 100% Germ rate so far.
