How long can u store smoke?

my friend caught a fart in a glass jar, and when he reopened it later, it still stank

i was wondering can u do the same with marijuana smoke or does it lose potency?

Theres only one way to find out...

Put your brain in a jar,see how long it is till it stop's workin...
its the same time as the smoke, before it start's to lose potency..

I've read that 6 months is great for storing in glass jar.....but that a year may loose some of its potency......Kept in darkness and below 80 degrees is what I have gathered from reading, that way the THC doesn't break down as quickly.

I think he wanted to know about the actual smoke that he is exhaling, not the bud he is smoking

never really thought about that lol, breathing the smoke in the car is one thing, but re smoking the smoke ? lol i dont see why it wouldnt work, def not as much but i wouldnt wait too long, like a few hours maybe lol
try it and let us know
smoke a bunch, fill a bunch of glass jars with smoke.. and a few hours later suck all that in and tell us if ya get high haha

I had really nasty rotten-egg farts once. I pulled my pants down and let one go in an empty drinking glass on my nightstand, and I turned it upside-down. In the morning I turned it over and took a whiff.

It smelled like peppermint. I shit you not.

i wouldnt keep weed in a jar for more than a month. unless your burping it a few times a day(open and let sit for a few minutes for air to leave/come in then close again). after a while ive noticed that weeds starts to loose its potency,smell and looks aswell if its kept in jars to long. the best way to keep bud for extended amounts of time is in the fridge or freezer.

oh yeh, now that i got my shit together, i knew a lady who kept it in freezer in a ziplock bag, i assume the air pushed out, and then in another ziplock. My Dad bought a vaccuum sealer with the bags and all that, I have not tried because i've never thought of saving smoke, nor had enough to do so. But I bet it would keep a long time in the freezer after being vaccuum sealed. I remember seeing posts on overgrow.com about this subject, I wish someone would have saved the whole damn faq to their computer..

If you blast a bong but don't release the carb, thereby trapping the smoke, then inhale it later...it tastes like crap. I have done this attempting to further cool smoke (when lungs were fried) and it made it worse. Seems similar to the concept of trapping smoke in a jar, only much shorter on the timespan. :peace:
