How long can you keep trim to make hash?

I want to make hash really badly, but I feel like I won't have a worthwhile amount of trimmings to make it (or make a decent amount at least) until maybe 2-3 grows from now. Is it possible to store dried trimmings in some sort of container for long periods of time and then use them all at once to make hash, or do they have a shelf life?

I store it in the freezer when it's wet. I use it to make bubble hash. If it's dry you can store it in a cool dark place or the freezer in an airtight jar.

some people only have dry leaves to start with so keep it frozen if it gets a littel ice on it than that will contribute to your ice

Sigh, anyone who makes bubble has knows to freeze the trim wet, it helps the trichomes break off.

It doesn't add any amount of ice to the mix, especially when you're adding around 2 gallons of ice to a 5 gallon bag.
