How long can you store bud?

What's the longest you, or someone you know or have heard of, has ever stored bud? 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, MORE? How'd they store it? Just askin, might have to squirrle some away for awhile. Any and all welcome to throw in their stories or advice.

i dont know from experience but i think it should last for a year or two. maybe longer if the bag is vacuum sealed, no air.

also might help to freeze it? but again dont listen to me

it will last for a really long time like years but i found after 1.5 years i had a quarter and it was just really dark and harsh smoking weed...mind you it was just in a bag not sealed good in a cellar the hole time...i smoked it and got high tho!
