What's the longest you, or someone you know or have heard of, has ever stored bud? 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, MORE? How'd they store it? Just askin, might have to squirrle some away for awhile. Any and all welcome to throw in their stories or advice.

I remember reading that cured bud will last for about 2 years without losing potency, if kept in an airtight container (mason jar) and kept in a room temperature dark place

marijuana can be kept fresh for years. so long as conditions are right.... the freezer is a perfect place to store marijuana for long periods of time. use an air tight container(glass for me). keep it cold and dark, and it'll keep it's potency for years.... good luck

I can never keep it around long enough to be able to give any helpful advice here. Fine herb is just like money to me, 10 minutes after it enters my pocket its gone lol

I found a jar that was hidden in my closet and had some bud in there that was almost two years old. I smoked that shit and it was as good as when I was smoking it two years ago. Mine was just stored in a jar in my closet for total darkness. I only had around about a gram left in the jar wish it was more lol.

The longest I was ever able to keep buds was about a year...not because they went bad but just because I smoked it. I think the smoke actually tastes a little better after it has sat in glass for at least a few months, it just seems to mellow out.

Curing grass for 9 or more months, given proper conditions, can yield strong, very potent smoke! Other than storing conditions, the strain of grass will determine the shelf life. Expect a rusty, bronzing color. Expect a heavy stone!
