How long can you store pre mixed nutrients water for soil? for waterering

Could I make a lot at once and only use it as needed? Planning to grow 15+ plants. It would be kickass if I can make enough nuts water for the whole week because mixing nutrients 2 times a week is time consuming.

Longer than a lot of companies would like you to believe.

I use a 1 part that you mix into water before using and can store for at least 1 year safely. Using the same chemicals as many of these 3 parts that use the excuse you can't mix.

And maybe they will fuck up with enough time mixed but it's definitely not quick.

You mix separate components for a reason. If the solution could be stored for long periods that’s how they’d ship it.

That means for the fox farm trio in quart bottles. Theyd have to ship you a couple hundred gallons if its premixed. Vs 3 quarts... Concentrations will cause precipitation between chemical compounds. Diluted with water , it still happens but at a much slower pace.

Ive had no problem with week old nute mix in a gallon jug or pump up sprayer. Think about a hydroponics Reservoir. Its a mixed nutrient solution similar to what you are asking about. Add something like an airstone or submersible pump to keep it all mixed and circulating. You should be fine. Just watch for PH creeping up

You don't want to mix concentrates together directly. But you can use a reservoir with some form of aeration and mix them according to directions. You can keep that for extended periods. Hydro reservoirs can go for a couple weeks. But it's going to depend on what nutrients you use. Some will get funky after a couple days. While products like Jacks 5-12-26 + calcium nitrate would be fine to mix ahead as long as you kept it aerated and didn't mix at a strength higher than they recommend.

In fact the label on Jacks specifically states:

Mix each part separately before combining as a solution.

Be Aware: Mixing Part A and Part B together at high concentrations will result in a messy precipitate.

A week is about the max I would consider using it. I’ve taken chemistry.
