how long do i leave this pump on????

I just bought "marijuana garden saver" by JC Stitch, edited by Ed Rosenthal and with its help i have determined my plant is being overwatered. How long should i be letting the water pump run? until recently i have had it on 23 hrs, about 3 days ago i switched it to 1 on 1 off for the entire 24, it doesnt look much better.

13 views and no one cared to answer my question? it is an active hydro system, medium is hydroton, one plant, 150w hps, maybe that will help you help me....

im trying to find out the same thing mate i dnt know how long to leave it on for i read it was just 3 times a day so ur shits proberly abit drowned im no expert at all so i may b completly wrong but it may help. i would appriciate it if anyone could tell me how long to leave it on for, during the 3 times a day 15 minutes? and hour????

Well first of all your asking more of a hydro specific question then "here's a pic whats wrong with my plant" like this thread was intended. I would say try something more in the 3-4 times a day for 15-30min range for a flood based system but there isn't some magical guide that says X times a day for X amount of time so your going to have to experiment and see what works best for you, your hydro system and your plants.

i now have it running 30 on 30 off while the light is on and once for 30 in the middle of the night. things are looking much better, leaves arent droping, stem isnt soft, and growth increased exponentially.
