how long do you cure befor you notice hay smell is completly gone

how long do you cure befor you notice hey smell is completly gone??? I been curing for 8 days now and when I open my jar it smells like dank i mean fucking goodness, but when I grab a bud it smells like dank mixed with hay.. also will opening jar all the time fuck with cure, my rh in jar is 65 to 66 % rh should I leave them alone or anm I ok opening them 4 or 5 times a day for 2 or 3 mints just to sniff lol

What was the humidity 24hrs after you first jarred them?

Usually about 2-3 weeks before my harvests really start to smell like they're supposed to smell.

I smoked 1 bud it was tasting good but was shit then smoke a another of the same the same day and it was good

At two weeks the hay smell should be going away and your buds should start to smell good. I cure for at least 4 weeks before I consider it ready.

Be careful of opening your jars too much, you don't want to drop the humidity too fast. It's pretty much over when the RH gets below 55%.

Honestly, and I'm not trying to be a dick, BUT, My bud NEVER has a hay smell, it smells great from the time I pull it and can be smoked a soon as it dries.
That "hay" smell is something else and I am not sure you can every fully get rid of it. some may claim otherwise, i don;t know because, as I said, i never have that problem.
