how long does a clone have to be?

i was super cropping my young plant and i broke one of the leafs by mistake.

i cut the leaf off, the stem is about half an inch, i put it in a cup with soil, misted it, and put a top over the container it is in. it is now in my grow box.

is a half an inch stem to small for a clone?

Ok...You can't clone a leaf man. It has to be a top (Like the tip of the branch)
No offense, but this made me giggle a little...

never cloned before man thanks for telling me haha

its not a single leaf tho, its a 5 pointed leaf, does this still not matter?

Still doesn't matter man, has to be an entire top with at least 3 nodes for the best chances for success...
