How long for Flowering Clone....

Hi guys, I managed to get a rooted clone from my SLH which I cut from about 4 weeks into flowering (Taken over 3 weeks to root lol) anyway, my question is, it still has a bud at that top that is beginning to decay/darken but the leaves are green and perky. So how long is it going to take before I see growth? Until the flower has completely gone, or has it already begun?

Just a reminder, this clone has roots....

I cut the bud early on to clear some room under the base of the canopy

...well.. for one you arent supose to take clones from flowing plants. when you cliped the clone it caused the plant thats flowering stress and in turn the stress causes the reduction in potiency and yeild.. Two..im almost shocked the clone lived...you know when grow pros write in magz and books not to do somthing..most of us dont do those things...therefor there is not a whole lot of presidence or info relevent to your question...my guess would be the clone dies... i think your best bet would be to swich it back to a flowering light cycle thatz 12/12...maybe the plant will keep growing the bud on it..or clip the budded part away and keep vegging if you want a bigger plant..you dont just want to let it mold and rot away...some pics would be great too..i kinda want to see what the hell your workin with...whats the strain?

The plants in the avatar bro...I have already chopped it ... Super Lemon Haze and trust me, the myth that it fucks up potency and yeild is bullshit... tipped my scales max at over 500g for the one plant... And actually you can take clones...it was a trimming that I decided to try rooting and it did. I'm not a noob by the way, don't talk to me like one.... if anyone has actual advice please post otherwise mods move to advanced please. Will rape the rep button for help!

Wow... fucking peeps are somethin. It's gonna be a while before you see something. I never done it, but folks i know have and I think it's like 6-8 weeks before you see anything growing out the bud. Guess all the folks I know are stupid noobs. I'll pick one of those grow mags up soon.

I think if its already rooted, then clip the top node off with the bud, and that will be its first topping. Be sure to give it 6 or less hours of darkness and back on veg nutes.. and try to encourage root growth.

man, never heard so many conflicting reports in one thread in awhile.. these here is the best advice i've read in this mess of a thread..

there's absolutely nothing wrong with taking clones from a flowering mom, in fact, it can be beneficial once you see how it starts to grow, you'll see what i mean..
the one down fall is that they can take longer than non flowering clones to root, that's about it.. i'd just do what james said, and top it where the bud site is at, this will allow it to start concentrating on vegetive growth again.. it can take any where from a week to a month before you start to see new growth sometimes from flowering clones, but if it's rooted and alive, i'd not sweat it too much, you've done the hard part, now it just needs to get back to flowering..
start giving it 20 hours of light a day, and feeding it some nutes higher in nitrogen to force it to get back to growing green parts, and it should do fine for you.. :)

well bro... i have taken clones up to 4 weeks into flower... successfully. I can't tell you about reveg... because i put mine directly into 12/12 to root and grow. takes about 3-4 weeks to see some new growth out of the buds... in my experience. look at my updates (latest threads) in the 600 thread...

Thanks a lot for the advice and help guys. Was just wondering because I've got another couple of seeds etc going, and more coming to be germed, but was quite happy when this thing rooted, so was wonder the timelength before the clone starts sprouting. :)

My advice would be to keep a Mother from seed. I've noticed that with every strain, after c6 or so, they start to get smaller, less productive. Just my experience. if you take C1 clones from a mature plant from seed, the genetics are much more stable through the year.
