How long for vegging

it really depends on how much room you have and how patient you are. Plants usually double to triple in height once you start flowering so keep that in mind with your space requirements. The longer you veg for, the more weed you will likely have, but also you have to wait longer

yea, its safer to go by plant height rather than time. I normally switch at 1 1/2 - 2ft tall just so i dont have a tree in my small space

you get the best results if you wait till at least you see pre-flowers , for me this means they are typically 18" or more in height if left untrained.

it really depends on how many plants how many lights and your style of growing i would look into the different styles of growing and see which is going to work best from you and go from there.

also there is the consideration of how wide the plants get.

i do two months vegging.that extra month payin the rent is worth the increase in yield i believe.but thats jsut for me, it depends how big you want your plant. and how your space restrictions are, also the amount of light you have

My average veg is 4 weeks.

But, everyone can veg for 4 weeks and have different results.

What lights are being used ?
What nutes are being used?
What air flow and movement is beig used ?
What other tech's are being used ?
What lighting hours are being used ?
What are the tent/grow room temps ?
Do they top or super crop or lst?
What pot sizes do they use and how offten do they repot ?

If you take away one thing that I do in my garden, you will not get the same results that I get out of those same 4 weeks of veg.
