The skywalker plants are 4 weeks in flower and no smell yet but the mr.nice smelled in like the first week.
in your words jointed how much humidity is good or is it a variable.? And my lights on temp is just under 100f and 80f during dark time...my humidity is set at 50%. my air con. can keep up with the two 1000w lights but the dehumidifier puts out a lot of heat and pushes the heat up to 100+... I have a 10x15 shed with a 8x8x6.6 tent inside.
Those temps are rather high -- 75-85 is the optimal range for temps with lights on. I've gone to 87 or so with no ill effect, but before I got it dialed in my temps got to where yours are and the plants got crisped a bit.

Depends. My Kali mist started smelling about 3 inches high. Got pretty damn potent about 3-4 weeks into flowering then stabilised and didn't seem to get much 'smellier' All depends on your strain, mate.

I thinl a lot of growers think a filter is just for smell if its a room that is rigged right then it should be on all way through, takeing old air out and inlet bringing fresh air in.
I have grown from seed before and the plants had not much smell at all,

Some strains smell more than others. All put out more of a stench as they near ripening.
I have had outdoor plots that I could smell from more than a 1/4 mile away if the wind was blowing in the right direction.

And of course, the more plants the stronger the reek.

Then you're doing something wrong, because my plants don't smell at all. They are 3 months in veg and the only way to smell them is to rub a leaf or the stem...J
No, YOU are doing something wrong then. Veg'd cannabis stinks like skunk if you are a good grower.

Lmao. Another ignorant statement from good ol BSD... What was it that cause that again..? Oh yes, the TURPENTINES Bahaha!

cannabis always smells... Even in veg it reaks badly. they really stink during the last weeks of flowering after the ripe stage as the turpentines kick up.

As LGC said, the strain plays a major role in smell (both strength and aroma). There are a great deal of strains that never have a skunky aroma. Some have an earthy smell, pine smell, diesel-ly, fruity, spicy..... you get the point. BSD, go talk to all your OG friends and let the grown ups talk. Run along now.

yeah I poked a 4" whole in the floor of the shed and hooked up a 4" fan to bring air in. The running temp got up to 88-90 for the duration of the whole night. Better but not ideal , maybe one more 4"whole and fan. the skywalker still has mostly no smell at all. can high temps reduce smell?

Read the comments on those threads.. "In short, yes. I have had smaller plants that didn't smell so much, but some did." Some did some didn't... This guy must only know how to grow half the time yeah?

"Ive had some realllly skunky plants (they were babies and most turned out to be males so they got the axe) and my first plant ever didnt really smell much during veg, but she's startin to smell reaaaal pretty now that we're headed into flower."
--- ok so this guy had stinky males, but based on your argument stinky veg plants = good grower... yet the female (only girl to make it the harvest) didn't start stinking until he got to flower time..

Oh what's this.. This looks somewhat familiar, kinda like what LGC and I said? "As a general rule the odor from the vegging plants isn't as strong as from flowering ones, and a lot of what determines odor is strain dependent. Still, if you need stealth..."

STRAIN IS THE MAJOR FACTOR! If someone's plants don't "stink" during veg it has nothing to do with their ability as a grower. If it did, everyone that's owned a cheese or skunk #1 clone would be great growers simply by a purchase.

My first purchase has been a 4" fan filter combo from HTG. I found that it handled the smell of my first single plant grow (nirvana bubblicious). My second grow I tried to reuse it, and on a smellier strain (blueberry). It seemed to really be struggling by the third week of flower (1 plant). Of course, I was sort of just scrubbing and recirculating air in the same area. Next time I am going to vent scrubbed air totally out of the room. I have learned allot since, and will buy a new filter cannister for each new grow now (phresh). I am also going to invest in a speed controller. I'd say a 190 cfm 4" filter is only good for a single plant grow by my experience. I will definitely be investing in a 6" or bigger as soon as i have the bucks.

hah! grown ups are too busy raising their kids. One typo and you get all butt hurt, go figure.
It's not just one typo bro, your passing out bullshiz all over this forum. there is enough rhetoric and garbage spread around this forum. I don't care what the hell you say, my girls DON"T stink period. If the temp and humidity are right the plant won't be stressed, therefore they don't smell. Go hang in UB's threads and try passing off some of the bullshit that you do to the noob's that don't know any better, I dare you....J

if you get a speed controller get something like this http://www.circuitspecialists.com/variac-variable-ac-ps05kva.html Not this www.amazon.com/Hydrofarm-ACSC-Fan-Speed-Controller/dp/B003URBQ1M/ref=sr_1_1/191-8420648-1948447?ie=UTF8&qid=1394075801&sr=8-1&keywords=fan+speed+controller
