How long is pre-flowering.

My plant so far has been getting 12 hours of sunlight in a sun room every day. It is 9 weeks old. I think it is in the pre-flowering stage. I am going to put it under a 400 watt bulb so that it can fill out and the branches wont be so sparse. The branches are sparse because the plant hasn't been getting enough sunlight. Anyway, how long should I keep it under the light for 18 hours a day until I switch to flowering and change to 12 hours of light? Here they are >>>

you can keep your plant in the veg stage for as long as you like, when you flip to 12/12 depends on pot size, room you have yield you want

you should have a good idea of what your doing b4 you start growing it helps a lot

I'd repot it deeply into a bigger pot then put it under the 400, 18 hours a day until you see pre-flowers. Then flip to 12. But there are some people who grow from seed using a 12 hour cycle. The plant will only flower when it's mature.
