how long left?

hey, here is my plant. its been a long time growing. i think its about ready. the main bud is sucking the leafs dry, but it dont look done, but other places the leafs are nice and green but the buds look done. how long do you guys think? my 1st grow, i was going to chop it down at the end of the week, but i said that about this week. although the pictures show lots of crystal, (ther is) they are not overly visual without a flash and its not smelling strong unless you wipe a finger on it. then its nice and lemony

get a magnifying glass and look at the trichomes, you want them to all be milky, and any sign of amber trichs means its time to chop. thats the only true way to check the ripeness of your flowers

ok. i just feed them today. do you think for the next week i should just give plain water? i chopped abit of a week ago, its wasnt done but i could taste the chemicals. would plain water give me a better smoke?
