how long should i flower on average

LAX is on point there.... definitely depends on your strain, but if you don't know your strain then there is a visual rule to go by... if you pay close attention to your buds once you start to see the first white hairs (trichomes) turn red/orange then you have another 10-14 days before they are ready. at that point I would flush with just water until they are all turned completely orange haired.

all she has right now is the two little pistle coming out she getting about 14 hrs light right now. want to bring inside to flower.

Tall and lanky could mean it is a Sativa strain because sativa has a phenotype similar to "tall and lanky" where as indicas are shorter and more bushy.

Yes more lumens=better. Usually more wattage equals more lumens, but it also varies from bulb type. HID lights are great! Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium bulbs provide great amounts of light for your plants, but increase the heat in your grow room. Heat can be controlled with exhaust fans, etc. You can still have a successful grow with CFLs though, but remember you are attempting to mimic the brightness of the sun for your plants to grow best, so more light will only lead to more growth. Unless you over do it, which is kinda hard unless your allowing your grow room to get too hot.
