How long should I keep my seedlings under 24 hrs?

OK, so after much trial and tribulation I finally got some beautiful sprouts popping up and some nice, fat green leaves sprouting under cfl's in a seedling dome. My question is, how long should I keep them under 24 hr cfl's before switching to my MH at an 18/6? I heard about 2 weeks, but I was hoping for some experienced advice. Thanks!!

Alot of peeps veg under 24/0 including me. Great success! But ya a couple of weeks would work, you can always work your way down to it i.e. 23/1, then 22/2, 21/3 so on and so on.

Thats all true above...but i just leave em 5 days under 24 then straight 18-6...preference and experience...both work..

i think its important for plants to get some dark time during veg,atleast 4 hours.after 1 week i swith from 24/0 to 20/4.

OK, thanks for the advice, Y'all! I am going to work them down to 20/4 in a few days, then when the get a little bigger i'll top 'em and start them under the 600w MH on an 18/6 cycle with the introduction of some good nutes. Sound like a plan?
