hay just wondering how long to go till i can start picking... mind the coat hanger wire ......

dono how long as i got the plant as a present as it was dieing in my mates backyard.......

kewl i'll go get me a microscope 2moro.....

i'll get better pics 2moro as i cant find da cam n used mi iphone...
 
you can get a good microscope from radio shack for only $12, 100x zoom and it works great. That looks like a sativa dominant plant though so I'd give it at least 10 weeks total to flower.

some people trim fan leaves off plants to allow more light to penetrate the smaller leaves/branches, but this should only be done in veg because it causes alot of stress during flower. The plant will focus on healing the wounds instead of packing on buds. It also slows the rate of photosynthesis
 
wait...is it even flowering? whats your light schedule? how long has it been on that schedule? have you done any reading before you just posted?
 
hay mate like i sed it had to be trimed as it was a mates plant dats was in da backyard and its winter here now and plant was nearly dead n i chucked it in mi tent gave it sum tlc n dats wats left of her

but thats a counterproductive practice. why take away the plants prime light catching leaves to light smaller, further away leaves. lumen loss from HID lighting is exponential the further away you get. that means if at the reflector youve got 100 lumens then a foot away youve only got 10.

try this... remove those scraggly secondary branches instead of the nice big stuff getting the prime light. now the plant is forced to send its energy towards those prime top buds eliminating smaller BS buds.

people who cut fan leaves at any time during the plants life cycle are ignorant to basic plant biology...plain and simple.
