How long to harvest (a few pistillate hairs turning orange)?

Hi!

A few pistillate hairs (?) are turning orange on a couple of buds, and I´m a bit worried that it´s soon time to harvest them. Reason to the worry is that I believe that the plants aren´t at all yet ready to be harvested. This is my first grow, and I have for sure made a few mistakes so far, maybe that can have made everything go haywire.

Is it possible at all to approximately the time its left to harvest from the picture I attach?

It´s Northern Lights Express I´m growing and I´m on day 45 since they sprouted.

From that photo you have weeks to go before thinking about harvest. Post a photo of the whole plant and people could give you a better idea. Most hybrid strains take at least 8 weeks from when they start showing flowers (white pistils). It's common to have some pistils turn red or brown in early to mid flower so no worries there, IMO.

That sounds great, I really want the plant to develop the buds much more before harvest.

Here comes a couple of photos of the whole plant, I just watered it, thats why it´s a bit droopy.

When did you flip them to flower?
I agree that with @SheeshM and @Arnski5000 - you're 4-5+ weeks away from harvest. Most seeds tell you on the package and/or website how many weeks to full maturity, which is really only a guide.

What kind of light are you using?
The browning pistils in the first photo almost look like heat damage.

Plant looks really stressed. Better make her happy or risk a Hermie issue.

A long time before it's done. Another 5 - 6 weeks likely.

Yes, I would say that I try to be careful with watering, my plants have drooped a bit just after I water them since they where very young. It takes a few hours, and then they are back up as normal again. I grow in coco, I don´t know if that matter or not?

Im very sorry, but I forgot to write that it´s autoflowers I´m growing. I do believe it said 7 weeks on the website I bought the seeds from. Is that time always counted from when the plants go in to flower, of from the start of the grow? Sorry for my question, I don´t hope it´s too stupid.

I grow under 2 Hlg QB 260 R-spec V2 lights, and I think that I have been careful and followed the distances that they recommend on their website, 18-20 inches from the top of the plant. But I shall have a very close eye on that from now on. Thanks a million for pointing that out, I did never even think about that.

Are you watering/feeding with good runoff? Coco plants shouldn't sag that bad after being fed.

shoot for 20% roughly...and never any straight ro water.

precisely. If flushing with RO water, add a little epsom salt to your water, half a gram per gallon is enough.

Thanks, 20 % it will be. I haven´t invested in a RO-water filter yet, but I will def do that in the future.

Thanks, I will def have that in mind when I buy a RO-water filter system, I haven´t really afforded one yet, but it will be bought soon.

I feel that water/feeding the plants is the one thing that have given me most headache so far. But I have tried to take notes about everything I have done, so hopefully I´ll learn a long the way.

That plant looks like it is really just getting going in flower. Right now just focus on trying to get it healthy so it makes it all the way to the end .

Thanks a million for the answer! Yes, that will be my highest priority from now on, it will be a real bummer if it doesnt make it to harvest. I'm keeping my thumbs crossed that I can dial the plant in so I can have a smoke from my first ever grow before christmas time. .
