How long to have lights off for ?

so I'm putting she plants under to bud I was just wondering if 35 hours darkness is enough before I flip them to 12/12 schedule

No need for any. Just flip the timer..

I heard it's better to keep them in a dark period before you flip them as this triggers them into thinking the season is "over" quicker

12 hours of darkness does the trick.

Why would you do that? Just switch yo 12/12
