how long to veg a clone?

i have this clone, its taken well and rooted real nice. It has been transplanted into its final pot. The question is its been vegging for roughly 2-3 weeks. it is 6" tall. how long should i veg her? If i find preflowers do i need to send her in to 12/12? little advice would be nice. My space is limited, but i do want a good yeild and don't want to rush her.

take your maxium height you can go and divide that by 3, thats is the height you should start flowering.( I use this rule and it works! )

depends on your strain...My Purple kush strain I veg for 6-8 weeks and then flower it ..... it stays under 2 ft tall when its finished ....only stretches about 6 inches in flower.

My sour diesel strain on the other hand tripples in size.... I veg it until its 12 inches and it ends up 3 ft tall

its just bag seed:( but i have a new question. I have a 25 watt neodymium daylight lamp, and was wondering if it would be better than a 13 watt cfl 5000k? I searched and couldn't find exact K or lumins, but it did say ideal for photosynthisis.

dont go below 26 watters bro, its not worth it at all, trust me.
For vegg, get some good 6500k-s, and you can mix in one or two 2700ks cfls.And for flower it vice-versa.Ok.

i have 1 17 watt tube flo 6500k, 1 26 watt cfl 5500k, 1 26 watt cfl 2700k 1 14 watt cfl 5000k and 1 42 watt cfl 2700k. planning on adding at least 2 more bulbs latter. i tried the other bulb, it just isn't any good. But i was wondering if any one has tried to put an oxygen pump in their soil? wouldn't that give the roots a shit ton of 02?

I have a water wand that has a built in bubbler.....it oxigenates the water before I add it to my plants:weed:
