How long will the seeds last in the cup of water until they go bad?

I'm germing seeds right now and I started them approx 7 pm on Sunday, we were gonna take tem out yesterday's but were denied by my friends parent about growing. So they are still sitting in the cups right now and most have cracked already, how long will they be in their until they go bad!? They're good seeds and I don't wanna waste

3 days tops, then they get all fuzzy. GL

If they have cracked already you need to get them in some soil asap. Don't know why folks need to complicate things by putting them in water like that. What's wrong with a moist towel or better yet, moist soil?

I'm sure I don't need to tell you this, but I am going to anyway. Why in the world would you go out and buy seeds, germinate them, THEN ask your friend's parents for permission to grow in the house?

Is there any way you guys could try to put them under some lights for a few weeks until it warms up enough to put them outside? That is still at least a month away in most parts of the US and Canada. At this point, it would be too long inside a house where the homeowners don't approve. I imagine you guys already went out and bought some equipment, right?

Sorry didn't explain far enough. The parents said yes multiple times. And then when we got everything set up they changed their mind. guys seriously thanks for the help but I don't need anybody telling me I'm retarded. I just wanted some help but obviously I don't deserve it. I'm not that dumb to where Id start a grow without knowing I'd be safe, that's like the number one rule of fucking growing... But thank ya'll for the help ✌

The anonimity of the internet turns people into jerks. I didn't say anything in my post I wouldn't have said to your face. It's just that there are posts like this all the time where people people put the cart in front of the horse. I guess with your situation though they kind of screwed you.

What strains did you pick up? Is there any way they would let you veg them out until early May and take them out the woods? They don't start getting stinking til they flower.

Well if need to keep it before its to late I suggest: put on solo cups. Dirt filled 50% from top. Plant in those a sit under a desktop lamp. This will give u two weeks until they need more room. Transplant into same cup but fill the remainder of the cup with soil. 2 more weeks gained. Hopefully by that time they change their minds about growing
