Does anyone know how long it should take for seeds that WEREN'T germinated planted in the ground to sprout VS seeds that WERE germinated to sprout?

If you have planted them straight into the ground then you should see them appearing in a week or so.

Just germinate them in plantable biodegradable pots if your lazy. Don't stick em right in the ground.
Agreed.

It's always best to leave them in pots until they are at least 6" tall.

I use 2" peat pots which are planted in one gallon pots until they are big enough to go outdoors.

I sometimes presoak my seeds but dislike handing sprouted seeds.

I soak the seeds for 12-24 hours.
