when i grew in the colder states i would let my plants get frost once or twice. some old dude once told me it shocks the plant to make more trichs, dont know how true it is, but i never had any probs. just watch for bud rot on the more shaded buds. melting frost+moisture

Depending on how large the plant is and how long the temperature dips below freezing determines if your plant can survive frost. With an adult plant I wouldn't be too concerned about a short period of freezing temperatures at night. I would keep an eye on the plant though. As long as you harvest it when the frost kills it, you are fine.
