How many 288 qbs for a 4x4 space?

What sort of driver do u use on ur rig?
And do u thing a 9 board setup in 3 rows of 3 would perform better. In theory the idea is to give each plant it's own individual board
Thank you. I have the hlg 240-2100 on these rigs. I each. Yes, a 9 board setup would definitely perform better. More spread more coverage.

I run two 288 QB kits, aka 4 boards putting out 560-570 watts in my 4x4 flower tent. They do a superb job inside the tent with reflective walls.

Your best bet is 4 atreum 288.2's and use and HLG-600H-48/54 can't remember which right now, and use a 140mm fan on the back of each heatsink. Makes a HUGE difference in cooling ability. Needed too, each board will be 150w. Which isn't even their Max.

I wish they had larger sinks for those atrium boards. Bars of 4 boards would be kick ass.

At least four pcs of 288s to get enough power for plants during flowering stage.
Maybe you could have a look at Mars SP series. They add heat sink on the board.
I used QB and Mars new light. Almost the same performance. But i thought the extra heat sink and help lower the temp somehow.
Those mars lights are epistar and are basically a paper weight.

So you're running 2 of the hlg 240-2100 in that setup? And how many drivers and what type would u recommend for a 9 board 120 rig. Keep in mind I'm running a basic 120v outlet

Yes. 2 drivers.I per 4 board kit. If I were to do it again,I'd get the A type drivers. They put out a bit more than their rated amperage. I'm on a basic 120v outlet too. I like individual drivers per kit because I like the adjustability of my rigs. I'm always running strains with differing heights.Being able to adjust each rig independently is a must in my situation.

No bro I plan on running running 9 boards on one rig in 3 rows of 3. Would I be able to safely run those off of the 2 drivers?

You need to size your driver/s for the amount of boards forward voltage.Hell you could run them all off of 1 driver if you find one big enough to handle them. I chose 2 drivers to keep my rigs separate,that's all I'm saying. Yes,you can run all 9 boards of 2 drivers,just select the right driver.HLG has driver recommendations on their site.Someone with more driver knowledge than I can assist you with that selection.
@Randomblame is a damn good guy in this aspect. So is @whytewidow .
