How many #7 pots does subcool use under each 1000 Watt?

I recently added an additional 2000 watts, making a total wattage of 5000 for flower. I have few #7 smart pots and am wondering how many plants vegged for 4-6 weeks in #7 pots would you put under each 1000 watt?

I have 2 batches of subcool's supersoil cooking in my garage. Cannot wait to post my results in a couple more weeks when I flip the switch.

scratch that

i would do like 9 max if you lean more toward the 6 weeks.

but you could prolly fit more at the 4 week period

Four to a hood
Good to know!

My state has a 45 plant limit per collective garden, so I want to maximize my yield potential using supersoil.

What is your opinion on having a shorter veg time (4 weeks) and placing say 5-6 in #7 pots under each 1000 watt? Hell, I might even try both just to compare yield difference and see what works best with my strains.

Subcool, if you say to use 4 to a hood and not use more even with lesser veg time, I will of course take your advice! Keep up the great work!

It works out about the same to be honest I have done as many as 20 to a hood in the old days and I have done 8 in 5's also 6 in 7's I prefer larger plants these days, the flowers have more character and with practice you should be able to get 6-10 ounces per plant per bulb according to strains.

Awesome man! I love how you speak from experience! I cannot wait to see what SuperSoil can do for my garden! I'll be ordering some seeds of Cheesequake for my next grow! Cannot wait to grow all your strains!

That's a good perspective to follow. I have 4 under 600W and I'm thinking of changing to 1000W. Growing Plush Berry. Using Super Soil. Best godam grow of my life.

wow, the high end of that figure puts you at 2 and a half lbs per hood!! I believe that's just about the max possible, gram per watt wise. That's where I want to be...2 lbs a hood, I'm still trying 6-8, 5 gallon per hood now, and I'm getting up there, but then again, I've only been growing indoors a short time so far.

co2 is proven to increase yields 20-30%

ive never done it personally but a lot of my friends say it make big fat 'dumb' colas and makes everything look like big bud.... Some that do run it only try to use it the first month of flowering..

anyone have more info on running co2? I might try a little this winter

CO2 is the shit. I keep it low until the stretch is all finished and bud set has begun. Then they get 1000ppm, I haven't seen much difference between 1000 and 1500ppm so I figure I'll myself some money in the long run using less gas. Then I cut it back to 350ppm three weeks before harvest. So for a 70 day cut, I roll it back at the beginning of week 8 THey take longer to ripen if you keep it cranked up all the way to harvey. Yields are fat, plants are very happy.

I kill it with four 10 gallon pots per 1k. More roots, more buds.
I agree bigger roots = bigger fruits  I've got a Gooey plant that is in a 20 gal. pot that has a whole 1k to herself. Fat branchy bitch 
