well you can get roughly 3400 btus/hour off of 1400 watts. so your going to have 14,500 btus extra pumping into your room. if you purchased a 30,000 btu window unit you might be able to keep the temp from rising too much. since windows units are not very efficient. just my thoughts.grow space is 8x8x20...any help is greatly appreciated! thanks
If your lights are sealed, and you're pulling cool air from outdoors, and pushing the hot return air back outdoors ... you wouldn't need more than 20,000-30,000 btu cooling imo. But if you're allowing the hot air off your lights to escape into your grow area ... you're fukt. 8k is a LOT of heat!
