How many grams in an ounce? I've been getting ripped off???

I thought it was going to be some joke or something for newbs, but it actually points out that an ounce of weed isn't just 28 grams it's actually 28.349523125 grams. So every time I've bought a zip over the years I've been shorted .349523125 grams. That adds up. It reminds me of that scheme in Office Space to put all those fractions of a cent into an account. Wonder if dispensaries put all those fractions of ounces in a bag and then sell them to us as budlets or shake or something.

I feel like someone owes me .349523125 grams x an ounce a month x 20 years

Like dia said it could be over.

Someone on here told a story on here about a dispensery that had thier scales under a air vent. When the air would blow it actually changed the weight on the scale.

A pound actually weighs 454 grams, so get out your calculator. :lol:

Its sort of like the story of kilos weighing 1008 grams...when we all know a kilogram is a thousand grams... but thats how you get 36, 28gram ozs
I weigh my zips out to 28 but dont scale up in that manner. A lb is not 28 x 16
Its done for ease.. imagine breaking down 28.whatever into 1/8ths all day

3.5436903906 grams...
I can handle 3.55 or 3.54 thats all the effort im putting in
Someone will eventually complain right...
The .01 off that 1/8 is a couple grams off your lb

I've used 28.35 grams an oz for decades. I also used the same figure for calculating plastic part costing when I was working for molding/ resin companies. I always got ripped off when I was a customer buying weed not to mention the damn bag was about 1 gram. Ugh! Just don't buy plant matter from people, grow it yourself.
