How many is to MANY?

I realize this is a first post and nobody likes a newb but believe me i am a long time reader and do my best to search the forums rather then asking a question. this one i need advice on though.

heres the question. in a 4ft X 8ft tray eb and flow with a 7 foot ceiling limit(where the lights are. therefore less because i obviously need clearance for heat reasoning.

also thinking about using the vertical grow light technique.

2 1000 watt hps wih plenty of air exchange and humidity control.

now heres the question.

How many critical mass could reasonably be grown in this space with a 4-6 veg time.

basically i am asking how big are these Girls going to get. as there is no point in vegging 30 if i can only fit 10.

advice/experiences.

My plant with poor lighting compared to what you may offer uses about 2 sqare foot, I guess if you dont mind putting plants next te eachother, ie touching pots 1 square ft per plant.

i appreciate the input thanks a lot i want to veg till like 3 feet and go flower from there. my concern is the bushyness that will come though and how much hight these beasts will put on during flowering

Well using those 2 1000 watts your plants will get real bushy and and big if u decide to veg for 3-4 weeks..Did u look into s.o.g?You can have a nice production going with those lights,system and space.

im looking for a monster yield though and have space on the sides of my trap about 2 feet or ore in every direction and thoght i could train the plants outward and get some massive trees.

is training this plant viable

Well in flower your girls are gonna get 2-3 times taller than when you started so 1.5ft could equal 4.5-6 ft there.
Good lights only mean they will grow even faster, so don't veg too long, you will have to bend them so they get more light if they get to tall.
I dunno about how many, I have a closet about that size and Im vegging 11 comfortably in there.

so how any do you think your tray would ax ut at without impeding one another growth

i couldnt flower more than that myself in mine and thats pushing it.

I wouldnt cram it too full tho.
