How many mothers for 3x2 tent?

Never kept mother plants before but I have the extra space this time around so I wanted to keep a few strains in rotation


I have a 3x2x5 tent

How much space is optimum per mother?

I have about 4 strains that I would really like to keep mothers for but I'm thinking it's unrealistic in a 2x3

They will be grown hempy, I'm thinking 5 gallon painter buckets

I kept a mother plant once, now I clone off active plants until I am ready to move on to next strain via seeds.
You could keep 4 mothers going in your tent. There won't be room for much more.
I tried to keep my mother plant small because I was vegging in the same space. Slight more than a square foot/mother would be good.

I have no plans for a mother plant in the future, but if I did, I would go for a bonsai mother!

A 5 gallon hempy for each may be a bit much. You really just want to keep them alive, and healthy enough to produce a clone. The genetics remain the same.

you think a 2 gallon would work alright?

Ive seen guys who keep clones in 16 ounce cups... seen a thread on here just the other day...ill see if i can dig it up
