In some respects Im happy with Obama while at the same time I am disappointed. If you want to criticize Obama for broken promises, all you are really doing is saying he has not been Liberal enough. Certainly not as liberal as he campaigned to be. Him and Democrats just completely screwed up the biggest majority ever. They took a super majority and turned into cowards by easily caving to Republican and corporate pressure. I hated Bush, but damn at least he had a satchel between his legs. Granted it also helped Bush had the #1 radio media and #1 TV news media in his corner. Had Bush been a Democrat he could have NEVER gotten through some of the shit he did. The $500 BILLION Medicare prescription drug reform which was funded 100% by adding to the deficit. The Iraq war, The Patriot Act, Bankruptcy reform, Farm subsidies, etc... Can you imagine how insane Glenn Beck would be going had the patriot act just now been written under this administration and congress?!?!

With the current Republican push even further right. I seriously doubt they will run somebody I like. So i will probably vote for Obama in 2012 if for no other reason but to cancel out IllegalSmiles vote. 8-)

Well great glad someone had the courage to put up some names...Hillary said she wouldn't and I dont't think thats she would..It would cause so many problems in the party...Now Mitt does look like he is going to run and it is his turn up at bat within his party...So you think Mitt vs Obama ????

For Obama not to get renominated is so unlikely in my opinion. BUT, if he wasn't. It would be Hillary Clinton who got it.

As for Republicans I don't mind speculating some. First I would think come to mind are Romney and Palin. But i doubt they would even make it halfway through the primary. Romney being a Mormon doesn't sit well with Evangelicals and Palin is just.. well.. she is who she is.

Bobby Jindal I think would get walked all over in the primaries by Republicans who are better at playing the game of politics.

Mike Huckabee I don't see making it far in the primaries if he runs an unorganized campaign like he did in 2008.

Haley Barbour who is down here in my neck of the woods I just don't see gaining enough popularity above the Mason Dixon line or with any minorities. Southern Democrats can and have pulled it off. But Southern Republicans Im not so sure. I could be wrong.

In my opinion RIGHT NOW I think it could come down to Tim Pawlenty and maybe even Newt Gingrich with Pawlenty the favorite. The sins of Gingrich cheating on his 2nd wife all while preaching family values and trying to destroy Clinton for a BJ in the oval office can come back to haunt him. But i think conservatives love him otherwise. I think had Pawlenty been McCains VP which almost everyone speculated he would be, I can't guarantee they would have won. But I think McCain/Pawlenty would have done better than McCain/MILF did in 2008.

Yeah you making good points all down the line, which makes me think in order for Obama to lose he would have to run on stage pull down his pants and then give his speech with his back to the teleprompter afterwards as he walks off stage he slaps Michelle on the azz and lights up a blunt and yells to the cameras " I'm Rich Bitch"...... And she has said she would not run before....

Those listening tours work wonders on her resolve.

I have no idea who she would select as second chair. Bill, maybe?

For now, the Republican ticket appears to be Romney/Pawlenty.

I'd say Huckabee would actually be the best choice, that cute and cuddly evangelical.

Obama will likely be re-elected though. It's the economy, stupid.

No, Obama has been hammered by the people.... and he still doesn't get it.

If health care passes, you can forget about Democrats for many elections to come.

If Republicans cave on the issue, they will face the same wrath from the voters.

At this point, it doesn't matter who is going to run for the dem's in 2012. Either choice.... they will lose and lose big.

Amazing that a year ago when this health care bull started 85% of americans had health insurance.
And out of that 85% about 80% Said that they liked their coverage.
So leave well alone,and do not force any one to pay for a insurance that they neither want or can afford.
