Kinda depends on your room size dont it ;)
That being said, remember it loves to stretch like a sativa would.

all depends on how big you want your plants. You could fill out a 5x5 room with one plant if you vegged long enough. what size containers are you using?

in a 4 x 4 space... 9-16 (3 rows of 3 plants, 4 rows of 4 plants, etc...)thats comfortably w/ one month veg time. Also, focus on training them, and topping/super cropping for max results... its a cinch.

Room size , well i pretty much have no boundaries there.... that being said im sure its safe to say a 1000 watt light can cover 5x5+ area relatively easy. im not looking to have monster plants , so im wondering if i should cut that veg time down to fit around 9 plants?

u still need some veg time. you want them to have multi colas regardless. imo

9-16 should be right... from seed you will need more time then clone

You'd be wrong about that.

i must be getting wrong information then... ive done everything outdoors until this winter

Edit: the area im going to use is 5x5(none of the plants will be touching the 5x5 perimiter) ill draw up a little paint shop pic to show you how i plan on doing this... its more like a 4x4 area with about six inches of room to work around

no point in using a 5 gallon if you're not going to veg them out long enough. Honestly, the more plants you grow the harder your garden is to maintain. Growing indoors is much more work than growing outdoors. I would suggest you use the 5 gallon buckets and grow 4 plants. If you give em a good month and a half veg and prune the og 18's into a bush, you could easily pull over a # out of your room. With a higher yielding strain, the end result will only increase. The 18 is a low yielder, but she's worth it.
