How many plants? 1000 hps in a 7 by 7 by 9 ft tall space would you grow?

How many would you run in a space set up such as this.?
Sannies jack, or ko kush strains I'VE CONSIDERED, OR MAYBE
JUST A STANDARD NORTHERN LIGHTS..

I will be using soil in 3 gal grow bags
any thoughts greatly app..

10 12 max for that size of a grow bag.The plants can get huge in a setting like that.Would get tight for more than that with too much canopy.JMO

me too,I've got three NL in rockwool cubes right now that are a week old with roots showing through the bottom of the 4" cube aready,so I'm guessing that these things have a tendency to get pretty freakin big,with that system,they would explode.

Hey I got a very similar setup as you. Im running a 1000w hps with a 42" parabolic reflector. I was thinking 8 plants and trying to get them big. I got 3 gallon pots as well but was thinking of going to 5 gallons or something bigger. Ill be watching this thread for any suggestions. Thanks and good luck!

too big? Im planning on vegging for a while and then flowering when they are 3 feet tall or so. LST all around. I bet 10 plants could get pretty big west. what kind of reflector you got?

germinating and vegging right now..Since we're going into the fall and things are cooling down an aircooled is out..but I need to get one within the next 2-3 weeks..What's the word on those Parabolics?

hey bro! i have 1 1000w (on a light mover)and i use a 4x6 flood table, got 23 plants in it now and they all have plenty of light and everything! i use the rocks in 2 gallon buckets tho! the stran is hindu kush and from my last grow i realized these babies get really big so we flower when theyre at 2 feet and theyll still grow to about 5 plus...even 6 last time. still produce alot. if u go to this link i got some photos of my first and current.

I'm turning over 8 FIMmed plants in my 8x8 every three weeks, so for me, 24 plants. As Bigblock said, they can get to 4-6 ft tall, so I flip them at 2ft, even then 24 is crowding it,
