How many plants for T5s?

So, my local hydroponic store is having a 25% discount this weekend. I was thinking about picking up some T5s for my future vegging. However, I don't really feel like spending over $100. So that only leads to one option, buying a 2 FT 2 bulb T5. However, the question is: How many plants can I veg. under that?

A 2ft 2 bulb T5 will start some seeds or root some clones quite nicely but other than that its not going to help much, check out this thread where oceangreen shows you how to DIY a 170W T5 fixture for about $70, easy assembly and you only need a few tools, check it out: (-->CLICK HERE<--)

Personally Id go with this 220W PLL fixture for only $112 (70 euros), brighter than a T5 for about half the price, these things produce good results and get good reviews, check it out: (15th from the top called "Quad Cuttings & Propagation Light 220W") (-->CLICK HERE--)

I use a 2ft, 2bulb T5 for my small grow and I can grow 3 small indicas thru harvest with no problems. I usually top and LST my plants. here's a few pics of the beginning of my last grow, had a N deficiency probem in the beginning but since rectified it. right now I veged them for 3 weeks and they are 2 weeks in bloom, would send pic of them but they are in night cycle now.

Oh snap, i just took a quick peek, that looks interesting. I'm definitely gonna have to look into it, i'm trying to save $ and go easy on my electric bill because i'll be flowering with a 1000 hps.

I would like to be able to veg up to 6 clones, my flowering room will be running a 1000w hps light so i just need it for veg.
Just get the 220W PLL fixture I linked to and be done with it, you won't be disappointed, that fixture will veg 6 clones/plants beautifully, tight node spacing and fast growth, however I would recommend you replace one of the blue 6500K bulbs with a red 2700K or 3000K (this is about the cheapest Ive found) (-->CLICK HERE<--), for some reason plants respond very well to a little red in veg and a little blue in flower. They also have UV bulbs available which Ive heard are very helpful the last couple weeks of flower.
