really depends on preference but would also like to here others opinions (exact numbers) especally for hydro flood and drain but soil too,all 250w sog,thanks

try 16 in small pots. flower them early... and lollipop them. they wont all me females...

Well this all depends on your grow environtment..... If you have limited height space then you could flower at about 8 inches to keep your plants a bit smaller, but this doesnt always turn out good, but most of the time it will. I usually flower my plants around 8 inches and they always turn out great so i dont think that will be an issue.

But if you have unlimited height space, then i would flower at about 12 inches, only because if you do this, youll have more nodes which will result in more bud production.

As for your other question

I would say a good number would be either 9 (3*3) or 16 (4*4).
Personally I would go with the 3*3 cuz i just think you'll get better results.

okay so im gonna grow 9 plants and start flowering a 12" so that means the plants will end up around 3 feet right

Your plants will not grow to be 3ft. If you flower them at 12" I wouldn't expect them to get any taller than 30"(1ft 6").

sorry, im not a user of the imperial system, but isn't 1 foot 12 inches? i.e. 30" is 2.5?

Yea probably somewhere around there. maybe even shorter depending on the strain too. but im pretty sure it wont exceed 3ft.

You'd still get a pretty decent yeild. Yeild varies with strain, light used, and supplementation and so on. But for an average grow, for one plant flowered at a foot that has average lighting, average nutrient intake, and an average producing strain im guessing mabye anywhere between 20-40 grams dry. this is just an estimate*

Ok first of all sog is the method of fitting as much little plants with single top colas that usually end up as a huge bud... when using the sog method u usually have little to no veg time so I dnt understand how u guys are co..img to the conclusion that he should start flowering at 8-12 inches, that's the sog method..
