short answer;it wouldnt happen.
you need 8-10 weeks of flowering time for regular (non autoflowering) plants. you want atleast one month of veg time to grow good strong plants
im gonna say you need 1024 plants, because one ounce per plant is a good goal and half of them will be male or will not make it

Well I think you could get 2 oz per plant in hydro with a month of veg. Talking strictly plant numbers. 512 Plants total. 256 in flower and 256 in veg. A perpetual bucket system. Of course you are using Clones. (I can make a phone call and get 150 clones in hours...Cali ^^)
It's pretty obvious what I'd do to pull it off. Coliseum grow. 2 sets of 3 tiered benches. Place your buckets on them. Total 6 sets of controller buckets and reservoirs. (Could connect all the reservoirs with simple pvc fittings) Simply elevate appropriate controller to tier. You can buy 55 gal trash carts at osh for like 30$ So get about 8 of those and pipe them all together. Using vertical lighting the needed watts would be much less and logistically feasible.
...A warehouse. But a very profitable one. Shipping to the East you're lookin at an easy 144,000 a month. Close to 2 mil a year...Mexico Anyone?

sorry i got my numbers mixed up.
i meant to say 16-20 weeks for 64-80 pounds
a hell of a lot. i would have a better idea if i knew the amount of plants thus could figure out space and electricity.

i definately disagree with that one.... i think you should be asking how much wattage you need instead of how many plants. if you are new to hydro, shoot for whatever .5 grams/watt or something... do some math and find out how many watts you would need to get 80 pounds or whatever crazy number you have in your head, divide that by 50 watts/plant and there you go.... well unless you can cram 2 crops in your 14-20 week schedule somehow, then that will change some variables of course,but i dont see that happening.

... lol and i reaaallllyyy hope you are just a silent partner or something in this whole operation of yours cuz i feel really bad for the guy who eventually gets busted.... especially if you get busted right near the end of of harvest and you are also sitting on an extra almost 1000 clones.... lol @ that situation
Where you planning on growing? The Astro Dome? bahaaha. You'd need tons of help, not to mention the money involved and let alone growing the plants. And wtf are you going to do with all that weed? It would probably stink up half of LA if you managed to grow that much.
