how many plants?

i currently have two plants growing ones almost a foot tall, the others not doing as well but i switched the lights to 12/12 to start buding them about a week ago they still havent started to show there sex yet (i dont have a timer and the 12/12 isnt always exactly on time, could that be why?). incase my good plant turns out to be male i want to start some new plants. i have a 48 inch double tube floresent light. how many plants could i grow under it? and would the seedlings grow under 12/12 light?

they will grow under 12/12 light but they will be flowering right away when then come up. Trust me they look really funny like that but still take o.k.

so they will start making buds right away?
