how many plants?

is it possible to grow 6 plants under 1 cfl 125W ?

come on now mate think serious thats like 20watt per plant, i use one 125w per plant but this time i got 2 of them on 1, i like your thinking though id love to have like 12plants under them...just wouldnt work. try it ? prove me wrong? is just my opinion

It is possible although the result will be not much yield for a lot of time spent.

not a chance of any decent yeild mate, they will grow but they would do that on ur window sill( probably better). to grow 6 good plants a 250 watt hps is (imo) the bare minimum, and i would personally not bother with less than 600hps. i use 110 watt cfl just to raise them from seedling for the first two weeks. u would have to take months upon months to veg and ur flowering would be pointless. sorry for soundin so negative but for 6 plants ur gaunna have to go bigger and the amount of cfls to do 6 plants would be a pain in the ass to set up

ehh depends on how you grow them yes 125w is low but it would do if thats all you have. i had 12 plants (ended up with 7 female) under 312w over 24x16in area vegged them for 32days and not dissapointed at all in how they turned out. but i topped and trained them to keep them confined to their spaces. sure more light would prolly have better results but for a first time around even if i end up with small 2 gram nugs ill be getting around a 4oz out of it. long story short if thats all you have and can get work with it. if you can get more add lights as you can. just do it over the smallest area possible and top/train the plants

oh and for t he ash guy if youd like to be proven wrong look at my signature link if you think the plants divide up the light and only use whatever fraction they are i want what your smoking. you can put 2 plants under 100w bulb and each plant shares the whole light. they dont look at it as oh im under here with someone else im only gonna use 50w. its all about placement and area size

yes mate well put looking nice yeah, i like your pic better i love to make a nice bush couple plants multiple top ya know that sort of ting n dont get it twisted i know this yeah it probly sounded better in my head ha but ya still want what im smokking on everybody say cheeeese!!. still let me drop a quick question on ya about the whole light in the area thing. say i banged 5/6 smaller plants in a 1foot square area mylar walls, fans going 18,000 lumens(2x 125wlights) topped tied down, nice bush multi heads (this is for purly flowering) thats it would create a equal/more/less of a yield then say 2 bigger plants in just under 2square foot same lighting
my basis for this is that heard the sun puts out around 10,000lumens per square foot so 18,000 in the same area would surly be great ??
