How many plants?

How many plants would be ideal for 3' x 3' scrog? At first I was thinking 2 but then I was considering how the plants would be kind of lopsided have to grow wider on one side than the other. I could do 1 but I don't wanna have to veg for an extra two months, plus I don't think I have a big enough container for it. I have a bunch of 5 gallon pots laying about, they're dimensions are 11.5" x 10.5"... I think. I'm thinking about 4 plants now but I'm going to be growing from seed and with different phenotypes that means each plant will have a slightly different harvest time and it will be a bitch to extract a plant without removing the screen. Also I'm most likely gonna be growing organic in soil. Opinions would greatly help.

Hello depends on what light you be using but 3 x3 I'd stick to 2 the more plants under one light doesn't work I use hid600w and get more doing three than I do doing 4 and that's in a 1.2 meter square airflow with 3-4 plants under a scrog is asking for trouble and problems galore if using different end dates if your going to do the different strains don't scrog

400w and a 3'x3' net, 4 is too many. Stick with 2 and if you haven't already, look into getting feminized seeds cuz its a bitch to only grow a couple and have a dude in there. Don't worry much about using different strains with the scrog. When there's only a couple of plants sharing a screen it really isn't that difficult to separate them out if one is ready to harvest weeks before the other especially if you did yourself the big favor of making the screen height adjustable.
